I saved a bunch of people, got sad, dropped out of college, moved in with my best friend, unofficially adopted Max, Robin and Susan, saved a local pizzeria, got sad again, discovered the ability to slip between facets of my reality at will, used this ability to reshape the world in my image, forced a vaycay on some guys who really didn’t want to go on one, cried about it, cut my hair, etcetera…

No matter how many times I get hit, I always get back up… Y'know, eventually.

Em wants me to be nice. Okay, sorry, fine. We're getting off on the wrong foot.

Last time, everyone was a major asshole. So don't be or I'll sic the kids on you. Other than that, have fun? There's some starter packets of seeds on the table in your rooms, you can go to your assigned planter and put 'em on in, if you want. If gardening doesn't appeal to you, Ned's giving some surfing lessons and Sara is offering some tours of the coast on her boat.

Besides that, there's a library, a couple eateries, and some shops.

Em will be... Around... If you need her.

So, today a gaggle of Spider-Heroes crash landed in my universe, trying to contain some kind of extradimensional villain. I obviously dealt with the situation before anyone could get hurt.

I felt kinda weird around the visitors. They seemed to like, highkey ignore me? When I asked what was up, the "scary dog" of the group went off about me being "disruptive", which kinda hurt. But then, I remembered- hey like, fuck off man? I'm not perfect, but I've been doing a lot of good for my universe.

Still not totally sure what was up with that, but they left.

Weird, though... Might grind that guy to dust if he comes back tbh 🙄

Things have been pretty quiet over here. It got suuper hot in like the span of a week, though. The kids and I are gonna have to set up an actual AC unit at this point.

We watched Titanic on Maxxie's birthday and I am soooo just like the orchestra players going down with the ship. Except the ship is my platonic man friend.

Temporal anomalies? Hm... Never anything severe, but occasionally old businesses will spring up in empty lots like nothing happened! It's mostly benign- and hey, I certainly missed Funtasia anyway. That sounds SUPER spookie ookie for you, though! I couldn't imagine things being ... Haha wait lol. Nvm I just remembered I did go through and tweak a bunch of things when I took over.

But yeah, it must be really strange for things to change like that, and like I'm assuming nobody but you even notices? Wild.

Thoughts

Lately, I’ve been doing my own thing a lot. I’ve been… I don’t know. Dressing differently? Uh, allowing silence… That’s a thing I never did. I always talked so much, because I thought if I wasn’t being funny and sociable, then… Well, that would be a bad thing. People wouldn’t like me.

But Maxx likes this thing called “parallel play” where we just hang out and do our own thing, and… Wow, it feels kind of good to stop worrying about entertaining and just be.

But what if that’s not normal? What if I’m not being normal?

Mom came to visit. She wanted me to get dressed and go out to the pub with her, but I didn’t want to and I said “maybe later”- I’ve been kind of behind on my laundry because the tragedy backlog and didn’t have anything to wear. And I’ve been trying to drink less, which is hard when she’s drinking… She wasn’t happy about that. She wasn’t happy with me.

God, what’s happening? Am I losing it?
